SILVER LEAF LODGE NO. 457 F. & A. M.
PRINCE HALL AFFILIATE
Worshipful Master: Marlon W. Maiden, 32°
Greetings
My Brethren, I am indeed proud and extremely honored to serve as the Worshipful Master of one Atlanta, Georgia's hidden treasures; Silver Leaf Lodge No. 457 of Prince Hall Affiliation.
My journey has always been that of serving Freemasonry, with the zeal that was given to me, during my first degree. The life I was living, was given new meaning, when the Brothers of a certain craft called Masonry gave me the opportunity to be a part of something great. I am of the opinon,we have but one time of deliberate action, to make life count, make life a contribution, rather than a waste of time.
As a "Man", I made the choice to be better, than I was portraying myself to others. And I have found, a "Band of Brothers" to help me achieve the Geometry that I need. As a "Mason", I made a vow to cultivate Masonry for the next guild of Builders, coming after me. I can only hope, the ones after me, keep their tools clean, sharp, good and true, for the rewards that are not theirs, but for Freemasonry.
When you share your Geometry with those, which have the same desire to understand the meaning of the GAOTU's design, "Peace and Harmony" will prevail.
Travel well Brothers, build your Lodges, build yourselves, into that vessel you will be proud to share with the world.
Humbly,
Marlon W. Maiden
"One should not discuss Geometry among those who are not Geometers, for in such a company an unsound argument will pass unnoticed." (Aristotle)
